We are a locally owned and operated residential center. We specialize in courteous and prompt attention to your needs. The Mark Twain is a new approach by private enterprise to a growing demand for alternatives to traditional health care services to older Americans. Nursing homes, generally large institutions, have attempted to serve all clients with the same basic services.

For the older person who is still active and able, but for reasons of health, needs some assistance with their medical regime, The Mark Twain may be more satisfactory. The Mark Twain is a Residential Care Facility II. We are licensed to provide 24-hour nursing care to residents who are ambulatory (capable of making a path to safety unassisted by another person). This allows for more freedom of design, more personalized service and at a lower cost to the customer.

The Mark Twain offers the services and the surroundings to afford you the freedom and flexibility to enjoy the richness of retirement living you have worked for and deserve. Some of the advantages the Mark Twain has to offer include:

• 24-hour nursing care to implement your doctors orders, carried out by proficient nursing personnel under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse and Registered Nurse Consultant.

• Full-service dietary, serving nutritionally balanced diets prepared and served like fine restaurants. Meals are served when you want them and items are those of your own choosing from our menus.

• Planned Activities for stimulating interest and physical conditioning. Parties and plenty of social gatherings. Our formal dining room, fountain and patio along with chauffeured transportation allow for infinite possibilities. You participate as much or as little as you desire. At Mark Twain Residential Centers, a person's right to privacy is never forgotten. Our building is designed to ensure privacy in the Residents' living quarters and the facility will only be serving 37 guests or less.

Mark Twain Residential Centers

All rooms are furnished with beds, chests of drawers, bedside table, lamps, curtain and bedspreads. Each room has a private restroom and closets. If you prefer, you may bring your own furniture.
